Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the team, ensuring all staff members adhere to company policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, assisting with their training, development, and performance management.
- Ensure excellent customer service by interacting with guests, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.
- Assist with staff scheduling, including managing breaks and shift rotations to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement promotions, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, discuss goals, and foster a positive and cohesive work environment.
- Assist with ordering and receiving supplies, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing wastage.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle various challenges that may arise in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software.
