Job Summary:

Emaar Properties, one of the leading real estate development companies in Dubai, is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient General Cleaner to join our team. As a General Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of assigned areas within our properties. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing a pleasant environment for our guests and residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Clean glass surfaces, windows, and mirrors.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
• Valid work permit or residency in Dubai.
