Position Overview:
As a Forklift Operator at Nissin Transport, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in the warehouse. You will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment and will also be required to perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and comply with OSHA standards.
- Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a forklift operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
