Key Responsibilities:

1. Morgue Operations: Assist with the daily operations of the morgue, including the intake, release, and handling of deceased individuals.
2. Autopsies: Prepare bodies for autopsies, assist pathologists during autopsies, and ensure proper documentation of findings.
3. Evidence Handling: Handle and process evidence collected during autopsies, maintaining a strict chain of custody.
4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities, including case documentation and evidence logs.
5. Safety Protocols: Adhere to strict safety and biohazard protocols to ensure the well-being of the staff and the preservation of evidence.
6. Support Investigations: Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and pathologists to provide technical support during investigations.
7. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of equipment and instruments used in the morgue.
8. Deceased Transportation: Coordinate and assist with the transportation of deceased individuals to and from the morgue.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forensic Training: Formal training in forensic science or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a morgue or forensic setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and adherence to strict protocols and procedures.
