Key Responsibilities:

1. Sample Collection: Collect and prepare patient samples for laboratory testing, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
2. Laboratory Procedures: Assist with a variety of laboratory procedures, including specimen processing, labeling, and sample tracking.
3. Instrument Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
4. Data Entry: Accurately enter test results and other data into laboratory information systems.
5. Quality Control: Assist in maintaining quality control and quality assurance measures within the laboratory.
6. Inventory Management: Monitor and order laboratory supplies as needed to ensure continuous operations.
7. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with laboratory technologists and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate test results.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Laboratory Experience: Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sample handling and data entry.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and healthcare providers.
