Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated individuals with no prior experience to join our team as Poultry Farm Workers. As a Poultry Farm Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our poultry farm. You will assist with tasks related to poultry care, feeding, and general farm maintenance. This is an entry-level position that provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the poultry industry while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

1. Poultry Care:

   • Assist in the feeding and watering of poultry, ensuring they have access to fresh food and clean water at all times.
   • Monitor the health and well-being of the poultry, reporting any signs of illness or distress to the farm supervisor.
   • Assist in the handling and transfer of poultry, following proper procedures to minimize stress and ensure their safety.

2. Cleaning and Sanitization:

   • Participate in the regular cleaning and sanitization of poultry housing areas, including removing waste and disinfecting surfaces.
   • Maintain clean and hygienic conditions in the poultry farm, following biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.

3. Egg Collection:

   • Collect eggs from the nesting areas, ensuring proper handling and storage.
   • Sort and pack eggs according to quality standards, preparing them for transport or sale.

4. Farm Maintenance:

   • Assist in general farm maintenance tasks, such as repairing fences, cleaning equipment, and maintaining farm infrastructure.
   • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment under supervision.
   • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

5. Record Keeping:

   • Maintain accurate records of daily tasks, including poultry counts, feed consumption, and other relevant information as directed by the farm supervisor.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience is required for this position. We provide on-the-job training to develop the necessary skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced farm staff.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Valid driver’s license may be required, depending on the farm location.
