Farm Supervisor

Position Description

• The applicant should be competent to handle routine farm chores.
• The applicant would have to keep records for quality assurance and production.
• The applicant will be expected to direct and coordinate the efforts of ordinary agricultural labourers and harvesting labour.
• The applicant will have to create work schedules and establish protocols.
• The applicant will be expected to monitor and manage crop-related operations, including growing.
• The applicant should be knowledgeable with operating farm machinery, equipment, and structures.
• The applicant would be in charge of keeping track of work logs and records.
• The candidate should be in charge of overseeing the farm’s overall operations.
• The candidate will be required to maintain an inventory of the materials that are stored.
  If and when necessary, the candidate will be expected to perform repair and maintenance work on farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must be skilled in operating farm equipment including tractors and trucks, among others.
• The candidate should make sure farm operations adhere to legal requirements.
• The candidate should make sure that the farm has constant access to water.
• The applicant should be accountable for keeping the farm’s financial and production records current.
• It will be required of the candidate to evaluate present operations, crops, livestock, personnel, and financial records and offer suggestions for improvement.
