Job Description

Gadd Farms Inc. is a reputable agricultural company operating in Canada, specializing in various aspects of farming. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Farm Workers at various locations across the country.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Crop Maintenance: Assist with the care and maintenance of crops, including planting, irrigating, weeding, and applying fertilizers or pesticides as required.
2. Harvesting: Participate in the harvesting of crops, ensuring proper techniques for handling and storing harvested produce.
3. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, such as tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other relevant tools.
4. Livestock Care: Assist with the feeding, watering, and general care of livestock, including monitoring their health and well-being.
5. General Farm Duties: Perform a variety of general farm duties, such as fence repair, building maintenance, cleaning of farm buildings and equipment, and assisting with construction projects.
6. Crop Processing and Packaging: Participate in post-harvest activities, such as cleaning, sorting, grading, and packaging crops for distribution.
7. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with relevant agricultural regulations and best practices.
8. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, crop yields, livestock inventory, and other relevant data as required.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in farm work or agriculture is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with farm machinery and equipment is an asset.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Basic communication skills in English.
