Job Summary:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces in compliance with health and safety standards. Assist in dishwashing operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and kitchenware, placing orders as necessary. Support the team in organizing and storing food products to maintain quality and safety. Participate in regular training to stay updated on food handling and sanitation practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a similar role preferred; knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Commis Chef
- Location: Doha, Qatar
Job Summary:
Support the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation. Work according to the menu specifications set by the Chef de Partie. Maintain hygienic conditions in the work area as per hotel standards. Control food stock and monitor food cost in the assigned section. Prepare daily mise-en-place and food production in various sections of the main kitchen or satellite kitchens.
