Responsibilities:

Site Preparation:

Assist in site setup, including clearing debris, setting up barriers, and preparing the work area for construction activities.

Material Handling:

Carry and move construction materials, tools, and equipment as directed by the construction team.

Demolition and Excavation:

Participate in demolition activities and excavation work under the guidance of experienced personnel.

Concrete and Masonry Work:

Assist with pouring and spreading concrete and mortar during construction activities.

Construction Support:

Support tradespeople, such as carpenters and bricklayers, in their tasks as needed.

Site Cleaning and Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized construction site by removing debris and waste materials.

Health and Safety:

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines on the construction site.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing tasks.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with other construction workers and follow instructions from supervisors.

Requirements:

Physical Fitness: Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects during construction work.

Experience: Prior experience as a construction labourer is beneficial but not mandatory. Entry-level candidates with enthusiasm and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Safety Awareness: Understanding of construction site safety practices and the importance of following safety protocols.

Adaptability: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adjust to changing project requirements.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.

Basic Skills: Basic numeracy and literacy skills to understand instructions and complete required documentation.
