Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled tradespeople and construction workers in their daily tasks.
- Handle and organize construction materials and tools on-site.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment as directed.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, or other materials as required.
- Assist in the assembly, installation, and dismantling of temporary structures.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks or other vehicles.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties on-site.
- Adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Valid work permit or Canadian citizenship.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is an asset.
- Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
