Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration Management: Implement and maintain configuration management processes and procedures.
- Documentation Control: Manage and control technical documentation and records related to product configurations.
- Change Control: Review and assess proposed changes to configurations, and document and communicate approved changes.
- Version Control: Maintain version control of technical documents and product configurations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze configuration data to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that products and systems conform to technical and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to resolve configuration-related issues.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to configuration management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in configuration management processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in configuration management, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools and software.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
