Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration Management: Implement and maintain configuration management processes and procedures to control and track changes to configuration items.
- Documentation Control: Manage configuration documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Change Control: Review and assess proposed changes to configuration items, evaluating their impact and ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
- Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity of configuration data in databases and systems, conducting regular audits and verification.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory specifications related to configuration management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to facilitate effective configuration control.
- Configuration Identification: Assign unique identifiers to configuration items and maintain records of their status and history.
- Reporting: Prepare and provide reports on configuration status, changes, and trends as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field. Relevant certifications in configuration management are a plus.
- Proven experience in configuration management in the aerospace or defense industry.

- Familiarity with configuration management software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
