Job Description

Active Cleaning Ltd is a reputable cleaning services company providing a wide range of cleaning solutions to residential and commercial clients. We are currently seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a pleasant environment for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces.
2. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
3. Empty and dispose of waste bins and replace bin liners as needed.
4. Clean and polish windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
5. Wipe and sanitize door handles, light switches, and other frequently touched surfaces.
6. Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
7. Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
8. Restock and replenish cleaning supplies and consumables.
9. Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules.
10. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
11. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
12. Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers to ensure a high standard of service.
13. Maintain a professional and courteous manner while interacting with clients and colleagues.
14. Follow company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality requirements.
15. Assist with other cleaning tasks or special projects as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential.
2. Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and equipment.
3. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their safe usage and storage.
4. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
5. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and bending.
6. Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
8. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities.
10. Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
