Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with their cargo inquiries and service requests.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding cargo rates, schedules, and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth cargo handling and timely delivery.
- Process cargo bookings, documentation, and customs clearance procedures.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, striving to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of cargo transactions and customer interactions.
- Keep clients informed of any changes or updates related to their cargo shipments.
- Assist in coordinating special cargo handling requests and arrangements.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the cargo or logistics industry, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Customer-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and cargo management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various customer inquiries simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Must meet the eligibility criteria for work visa sponsorship in the United Arab Emirates.
