Responsibilities:

• Providing compassionate and personalized care to clients, including elderly individuals, individuals with disabilities, or those in need of assistance with daily activities.
• Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Administering medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and monitoring clients’ health conditions, reporting any changes or concerns.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers, using assistive devices as necessary.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to clients’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Engaging clients in meaningful activities, such as conversation, cognitive exercises, and recreational activities.
• Accompanying clients to appointments, outings, and social activities, providing companionship and support.
• Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate records of care provided and any observations or incidents.
• Collaborating with the care team and communicating effectively with clients’ families to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a similar role or with relevant training.
Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives.
Knowledge of caregiving techniques and an understanding of the needs of elderly or disabled individuals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, reliability, and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
Legally eligible to work in the UK.
Valid First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
