Responsibilities:

1. Providing compassionate and personalized care to clients, including elderly individuals, individuals with disabilities, or those in need of assistance with daily activities.
2. Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
3. Administering medications and monitoring clients’ health conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
4. Assisting with mobility and transfers, using assistive devices as necessary.
5. Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary requirements or restrictions.
6. Engaging clients in meaningful activities, including conversation, cognitive stimulation, and recreational activities.
7. Accompanying clients to appointments, outings, and social activities, providing companionship and support.
8. Assisting with light household chores and maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
9. Documenting and maintaining accurate records of care provided and any observations or incidents.
10. Collaborating with the care team and communicating with clients’ families to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably in a similar role or with relevant training.
2. Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
3. Knowledge of caregiving techniques and an understanding of the needs of elderly or disabled individuals.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Patience, reliability, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
6. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
7. Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
8. Legally eligible to work in the UK.
9. Valid First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
10. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
