- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Mobility Support: Provide support for clients’ mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
- Companionship: Engage with clients in social and recreational activities, providing emotional support and companionship.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment for clients.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in clients’ health conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and well-being of clients, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience as a caregiver, healthcare aide, or related field is advantageous, but we also welcome compassionate individuals with a genuine interest in caregiving.
- Education: Some positions may require a caregiver certification or relevant healthcare training.
- Compassion: Empathy and understanding for the needs of the individuals receiving care.
- Communication: Basic communication skills in English to interact with clients and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of clients.
