Job Responsibilities (Role Breakdown):

1. Railway Track Maintainer

Inspect, repair, and replace railway tracks and ties
Operate track machines and tools
Ensure safe rail alignment and clearance

2. Train Conductor

Coordinate train movements and cargo documentation
Monitor safety during travel, stops, and cargo handling
Communicate with dispatchers and crew

3. Railcar Mechanic (Carman)

Inspect railcars for defects and safety compliance
Repair or replace brakes, wheels, and structural parts
Use power tools and welding equipment

4. Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate backhoes, bulldozers, cranes, and tamping machines

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (some technical positions may require certification)
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in construction, mechanical, electrical, or logistics field
Strong English communication skills (French is a bonus in Quebec)
Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor weather conditions
Valid driver’s license preferred for some roles
Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and travel (for mobile maintenance crews)
