Salary :  29.00 to 40.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 20 to 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain complete and accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Payroll Processing: Accurately process employee payroll, including calculating wages, taxes, and superannuation contributions.
  4. Invoicing and Payments: Generate invoices, track payments, and manage accounts receivable and payable.
  5. Expense Management: Monitor and manage company expenses, including tracking receipts and expense reports.
  6. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  7. Budget Tracking: Assist in budget management and monitoring of financial performance against budgetary goals.
  8. Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation and records.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Australian accounting and tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or related qualifications are preferred.
