About the Role
We are seeking creative and skilled architects to join our team across multiple architectural firms in the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan buildings and structures, taking into consideration functionality, safety, sustainability, and aesthetics
- Prepare detailed architectural plans, drawings, and models using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design vision aligns with project requirements
- Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure the design is feasible and compliant with local regulations
- Provide support during the construction phase, ensuring designs are executed according to plans and addressing any issues that arise
- Assist with project management, budgets, timelines, and procurement of materials
- Stay updated on architectural trends, technologies, and UK building codes
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for projects
- Prepare presentations for clients and stakeholders to communicate design concepts effectively
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture (or equivalent qualification) and membership of a professional body (e.g., RIBA or equivalent international organization)
- Previous experience in architecture or a related field (preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong understanding of UK building codes, planning regulations, and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills in English for client interactions, teamwork, and presentations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
