Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the store management team to understand project requirements, goals, and design objectives.
Design and develop architectural plans, drawings, and layouts for the store’s facilities, including interior and exterior spaces.
Create 2D and 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts to stakeholders and obtain necessary approvals.
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards in all architectural designs.
Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess the suitability of locations and existing structures for renovation or construction projects.
Prepare and manage project budgets, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and recommending cost-saving measures.
Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
Oversee the construction process, including reviewing contractors’ work, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to design specifications.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and identify any issues or discrepancies.
Coordinate with the store’s departments, such as operations and merchandising, to incorporate their requirements into the architectural design.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction materials, finishes, and equipment selection.
Collaborate with the store’s maintenance team to develop maintenance plans and schedules for the facilities.
Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies in architectural design and construction.
Ensure effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field. A professional certification is preferred.
Proven experience as an Architect, preferably in commercial or retail projects.
Strong proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
Proficient in creating 2D and 3D visualizations and renderings.
In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
Excellent design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices is a plus.
Knowledge of the Dubai construction industry and local regulations is preferred.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
