Key Responsibilities:

Aramex is hiring for a variety of positions, each with specific responsibilities. Below are the primary responsibilities for the various roles we are looking to fill:

1. Logistics Coordinator:

  • Coordinate daily logistics operations, including managing shipment routes and schedules.
  • Work with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays, lost items, or damaged goods.
  • Manage and optimize the supply chain to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Communicate with clients regarding shipment statuses, customs issues, and delivery schedules.

2. Warehouse Operations Supervisor:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, incoming shipments, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure the safety of warehouse staff and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
  • Coordinate with the logistics department to ensure the smooth flow of goods into and out of the warehouse.
  • Develop and implement warehouse strategies to optimize storage and improve operational efficiency.

3. Customer Service Representative:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, answering inquiries related to shipments, deliveries, and services.
  • Provide timely and accurate information regarding tracking, delivery status, and service-related issues.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally, resolving issues efficiently and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and warehouse teams, to ensure prompt service delivery.
  • Assist with the documentation and processing of customer orders, invoices, and returns.

4. Delivery Driver:

  • Safely transport goods to customers according to established delivery schedules.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made on time, providing the best customer experience through professional and courteous interactions.
  • Load and unload items according to company safety standards.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain proper vehicle cleanliness.
  • Handle delivery paperwork, including invoices, and ensure customer signatures are obtained upon delivery.

5. Supply Chain Analyst:

  • Analyze supply chain processes and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and operations teams to gather data and assess supplier performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure supply chain objectives are being met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce delays, and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Provide detailed reports and insights to management on supply chain performance and trends.

6. Sales Executive:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Promote and sell Aramex’s logistics and transportation services to businesses in need of supply chain solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing and service terms with clients while ensuring company profitability.
  • Work closely with the customer service and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met and services are delivered on time.
  • Maintain and develop long-term relationships with existing clients, driving repeat business and customer loyalty.

7. Import/Export Coordinator:

  • Coordinate international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and import/export laws.
  • Prepare and process the necessary documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, import/export declarations, and invoices.
  • Monitor the status of shipments, communicating with customs authorities, vendors, and clients as needed.
  • Ensure timely customs clearance, working with freight forwarders to resolve any customs issues.
  • Track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in accordance with customer expectations.

8. Freight Forwarding Specialist:

  • Organize and manage the movement of goods internationally, including coordinating air, sea, and land transportation.
  • Negotiate with carriers and freight forwarders to secure the best pricing and service.
  • Prepare and submit the necessary documentation, including shipping instructions and customs clearance paperwork.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to delayed or damaged goods.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to optimize shipping processes and reduce transportation costs.

9. Warehouse Associate:

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of goods in the warehouse.
  • Organize and stock goods in the warehouse, ensuring that they are stored safely and in compliance with inventory management protocols.
  • Process incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring that goods are prepared and shipped according to client requirements.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist in restocking materials when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency in the warehouse.

10. HR Assistant:

  • Assist the HR department with recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
  • Help coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure that employee benefits are administered correctly.
  • Maintain HR databases and ensure all employee documentation is up-to-date.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in any of the positions at Aramex, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required for most positions.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred for roles such as Supply Chain Analyst, Sales Executive, and HR Assistant.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the logistics, transportation, or customer service industry is preferred for many roles.
  • Specific experience in international shipping, customs clearance, or freight forwarding is beneficial for Import/Export Coordinators and Freight Forwarding Specialists.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Knowledge of logistics management software and tools is preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, and team members.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Problem-Solving:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle issues and resolve challenges quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to think critically and identify areas for improvement in operations.

Teamwork:
