Job Summary:
Moreau PRS is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aluminum Doors and Windows Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling aluminum doors and windows according to specifications and industry standards. Your primary tasks will include cutting, shaping, drilling, and assembling aluminum components to create high-quality doors and windows.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to understand assembly requirements.
- Measure, cut, and shape aluminum profiles and components using specialized tools and machinery.
- Drill holes, insert screws, and fasten aluminum parts together to assemble doors and windows.
- Install hardware, such as locks, handles, hinges, and weatherstripping.
- Ensure that assembled doors and windows meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to identify and rectify any defects or issues.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for assembly, including deburring and sanding.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and tools.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate any challenges or concerns regarding the assembly process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques related to aluminum door and window assembly.
- Follow established production schedules and meet deadlines for project completion.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in aluminum door and window assembly or a similar field is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of aluminum fabrication techniques, tools, and machinery.
- Familiarity with assembly processes and hardware installation for doors and windows.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Ability to use measuring instruments and hand/power tools effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials during the assembly process.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
