Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s ANZ business objectives and growth plans.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Compliance: Oversee financial compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust risk assessment and management practices.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage external audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring a smooth audit process.
- Taxation: Oversee tax compliance and planning for the ANZ region, working closely with tax advisors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CA qualifications are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
