Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Compensation & Benefits Manager may include:

  • Developing and implementing compensation and benefits policies, procedures, and strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Managing the design and administration of competitive compensation structures, including base pay, bonuses, and incentives.
  • Conducting regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure the organization’s compensation packages remain competitive.
  • Overseeing the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Collaborating with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Advising senior management on compensation and benefits trends, best practices, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Managing the communication and education of employees regarding compensation and benefits programs.
  • Handling compensation and benefits inquiries and providing guidance to employees.
  • Leading initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention through compensation and benefits programs.
  • Managing the annual compensation and benefits review process, including performance-related adjustments.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Collaborating with external vendors and consultants as needed.
  • Preparing reports and data analysis related to compensation and benefits for management review.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and emerging best practices in compensation and benefits.
  • Leading or participating in special projects related to compensation and benefits.

Education and Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and compensation software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with work visa and employment regulations for foreign Compensation & Benefits Managers in Singapore (if applicable).
