All the living beings live in nature. Because of modern urbanization, etc. The natural environment has been changed adversely. Pollution refers to the contamination of waste products which we find in our environment. It means the degradation of quality and the number of natural resources. There are different types of pollution caused by human activities. They are air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, and sound pollution.

Pollution is mainly caused by human activities. The main causes of pollution are over pollution growth, urbanization, industrialization, deforestation, modernization, and migration, use of pesticides, and lack of awareness of the people. Mostly, we can see pollution in urban areas where the population is increasing rapidly. The density of population in cities is very high. Many people are migrating to cities for various purposes. The factories produce more waste products harmful gases and chemicals. Unplanned urbanization and industrialization have caused water pollution, air pollution, and sound pollution as well. People are destroying the forest for various purposes. Deforestation promotes air pollution. Most of the people are uneducated. They are not adequately aware. They pollute the environment in various way.
Environment pollution has many adverse effects on all living beings. It causes many diseases. Greenhouse effect, ozone layer depletion, acid rain, etc. are the serious effects of pollution. Especially, we may lose out mental and physical health. The fertility of the soil gets decreased. We can not produce enough crops. Because of water pollution, most of the water animals disappear forever; as the result, the natural balance id affected badly, The resources of water may lead the whole nature to destruction and failure.
In order to control pollution, we can apply many preventive measures and solutions. Firstly, the degree of public consciousness should be promoted. Urbanization and industrialization should be well planned. Afforestation and reforestation programmes should be applied effectively. The existing forest should be preserved. Emigration to cities should be discouraged. Pesticides should not be used on our farms heavily.
The main causes of pollution are human beings. If we are responsible to make this earth a suitable place to live, we have to try to stop pollution which is growing rapidly. The government should decentralize all the facilities and opportunities all over the country.
