2. Transport goods and materials between designated locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and its components to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
4. Adhere to the designated routes and schedules, adjusting to weather conditions, traffic, and other factors as needed.
5. Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
6. Monitor and report any mechanical issues or abnormalities with the vehicle to the appropriate authorities.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant documentation as required by regulations.
8. Cooperate with warehouse staff and clients during loading and unloading operations.
9. Comply with hazardous materials regulations, if applicable, and ensure the proper handling and transportation of such materials.
10. Follow all company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism.

Requirements:

1. Valid and clean Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the necessary endorsements for the type of vehicles to be operated.
2. Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a clean driving record.
3. Familiarity with Canadian transportation laws and regulations.
4. Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety on the road.
5. Ability to operate and navigate a GPS system and other electronic devices related to trucking operations.
6. Strong physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks as required.
7. Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor when dealing with clients and colleagues.
8. Flexibility to work various schedules, including weekends and extended hours, if necessary.
