Job Summary:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within our premises. Your proactive approach to security, quick decision-making skills, and ability to handle diverse situations will be instrumental in preventing incidents and maintaining order. This role requires a responsible and alert individual who can effectively enforce security protocols and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol the premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activities.
Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, taking appropriate actions as required.
Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
Control access to restricted areas, checking identification and permits as necessary.
Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees with a courteous and helpful attitude.
Conduct bag and package inspections to prevent theft and unauthorized items from entering the premises.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary.
Handle conflicts or disruptive behavior among visitors or staff, de-escalating situations whenever possible.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities and incidents.
Assist in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter potential security threats.
Handle any other security-related tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar security role is preferred but not mandatory.
Security training or certifications are advantageous.
Strong observation and surveillance skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English (both spoken and written).
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
Familiarity with security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems.
Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods.
UAE residency or work permit is required for local applicants; visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
