Job Summary:

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling and transporting materials and goods within our warehouse or construction site. Your expertise in operating forklifts safely and accurately will contribute to maintaining a smooth flow of logistics operations. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials and goods within the warehouse or construction site.
Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper storage and organization of materials.
Check and inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Safely and accurately stack and store materials in designated locations.
Use forklift attachments, such as clamps or hooks, as required for specific tasks.
Comply with safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to prioritize tasks and maintain efficient operations.
Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, such as refueling, checking oil levels, and cleaning.
Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs of forklifts to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in inventory control by accurately recording material movement and quantities.
Adhere to loading and unloading schedules to meet project and delivery deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and accessibility.
Follow instructions and guidelines for material handling, storage, and shipping.
Handle any other forklift operation tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role.
Valid forklift operator’s license/certification is required.
Proficiency in operating forklifts and knowledge of safety practices.
Ability to handle different types of forklifts and attachments.
Good understanding of warehouse or construction site layout.
Excellent coordination and physical stamina to operate forklifts efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Effective communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
Punctual, reliable, and able to work in shifts if required.
UAE residency or work permit is required for local applicants; visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
