Easy Entry Job Roles – Open Now (2025)

We are currently recruiting for the following 10 entry-level and mid-level job roles in London under the care sector. All jobs are with Lifecare Home Services Ltd and include on-the-job support, supervision, and career growth opportunities.

1. Home Care Assistant

Salary: £11.50 – £13.50/hour

Visit service users in their homes
Support with washing, dressing, toileting, eating
Companionship and daily conversation
Medication reminders

2. Live-In Carer

Salary: £700 – £850/week + food & accommodation

Stay with clients in their homes (minimum 1 week shifts)
Full personal care, companionship, and daily tasks
Ideal for candidates without a London home base

3. Night Care Assistant

Salary: £12.00 – £14.00/hour

Overnight stays for vulnerable clients
Monitoring, toileting support, and security
Common in end-of-life and elderly care

4. Companionship Carer

Salary: £11.00 – £12.50/hour

Emotional support, walks, meal preparation, games
For clients who need friendship and light assistance
Great for empathetic and talkative individuals

5. Domiciliary Care Worker

Salary: £11.75/hour + travel allowance

Travel from house to house on a daily route
Practical support with medication, meals, and hygiene
Flexible rota options (school hours, weekends)

6. Disability Support Worker

Salary: £12.50 – £14.00/hour

Assist individuals with physical or learning disabilities
Light lifting, mobility assistance, and meal support
May involve going out with clients to appointments or parks

7. Elderly Care Worker

Salary: £11.00 – £13.00/hour

Work exclusively with elderly people (age 65+)
Bathing, grooming, oral care, companionship
Fall prevention and gentle exercise encouragement

8. Children’s Care Assistant

Salary: £12.00 – £14.00/hour

Support children with special educational needs
After-school or weekend assistance
Requires DBS check and child safeguarding training

9. Palliative Care Support Worker

Salary: £13.50 – £15.00/hour

Work with clients in end-of-life stages
Emotional strength and gentle hands-on care needed
Training provided for palliative care

10. Care Team Scheduler (Office Role)

Salary: £1,900 – £2,100/month

Plan weekly rota for 50+ care staff
Match carers with clients based on availability
Communicate schedule changes and emergencies

Who We Are Looking For

Basic Requirements:

Age 18+
Good spoken English (reading and writing also preferred)
Kindness, patience, and a desire to help others
Punctuality and reliability
Willingness to undergo full background check (DBS)
Ability to travel to clients’ homes (own transport is a plus)

Desirable But Not Required:

Previous care experience (professional or personal)
UK driving license
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
Valid CPR/First Aid certificate
Eligibility for UK Skilled Worker Visa (we can guide you)
