Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the ice cream shop
Assign tasks to team members such as scooping, cleaning, cash handling, and greeting customers
Ensure team members follow food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
Monitor inventory and place orders for ingredients and supplies when needed
Prepare shift schedules and manage employee attendance and punctuality
Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner
Train and mentor new employees on store protocols and product knowledge
Ensure that equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance issues
Handle cash, process payments, and ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliations
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store to corporate and health standards
Support store manager with administrative duties when required

✅ Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or food service supervisory role
Post-secondary diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus)
Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures (training provided)
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using POS systems, cash handling, and managing staff rosters
Ability to lift moderate weights and be on your feet for extended hours
Friendly, reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
