Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure the proper grinding, tamping, and extraction of coffee, consistently achieving the desired flavor and strength.
• Operate espresso machines and other coffee equipment, ensuring their cleanliness and maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests, and recommending beverages and food items based on their preferences.
• Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system.
• Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries and sandwiches, in adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, brewing equipment, and seating areas.
• Replenish supplies and monitor inventory levels, ensuring availability of ingredients and products.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, hygiene, and customer service.
• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance coffee knowledge and barista skills.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista in a coffee shop or similar environment is preferred.
• Passion for coffee and a strong knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality coffee beverages with consistent taste and presentation.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact with customers and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is desirable.
• A genuine passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
