Job Description:

The Tower Plaza Hotel Dubai is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Order Taker to join our hospitality team in Dubai, UAE. As a key member of the housekeeping department, you will be responsible for handling housekeeping-related guest requests, coordinating with housekeeping staff, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities:

Receive and record all housekeeping-related guest requests and coordinate with the housekeeping team to fulfill them efficiently.
Maintain a detailed log of housekeeping calls, guest complaints, and service requests.
Communicate effectively with guests, providing information on hotel services and ensuring their needs are met.
Assign and relay guest requests to housekeeping attendants and ensure timely completion.
Follow up on guest requests to ensure satisfaction and maintain high service standards.
Assist in inventory management by keeping track of housekeeping supplies and replenishments.
Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as front office and maintenance, for smooth service operations.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling guest requests or complaints.
Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, safety standards, and hygiene protocols.
Support housekeeping operations by occasionally assisting with room inspections and reports.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience in a similar role in housekeeping, front office, or guest services in a hotel or hospitality setting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).
Proficiency in using hotel management systems (PMS) and communication tools.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while handling guest requests.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality hospitality service standards.
Must be comfortable working in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
Familiarity with housekeeping operations and standards.
Customer service training or hospitality certification is an added advantage.
