Job Description:
The Tower Plaza Hotel Dubai is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Order Taker to join our hospitality team in Dubai, UAE. As a key member of the housekeeping department, you will be responsible for handling housekeeping-related guest requests, coordinating with housekeeping staff, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and record all housekeeping-related guest requests and coordinate with the housekeeping team to fulfill them efficiently.
- Maintain a detailed log of housekeeping calls, guest complaints, and service requests.
- Communicate effectively with guests, providing information on hotel services and ensuring their needs are met.
- Assign and relay guest requests to housekeeping attendants and ensure timely completion.
- Follow up on guest requests to ensure satisfaction and maintain high service standards.
- Assist in inventory management by keeping track of housekeeping supplies and replenishments.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as front office and maintenance, for smooth service operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling guest requests or complaints.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, safety standards, and hygiene protocols.
- Support housekeeping operations by occasionally assisting with room inspections and reports.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in a similar role in housekeeping, front office, or guest services in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).
- Proficiency in using hotel management systems (PMS) and communication tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while handling guest requests.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality hospitality service standards.
- Must be comfortable working in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
- Familiarity with housekeeping operations and standards.
- Customer service training or hospitality certification is an added advantage.
