Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee technical operations of vessels, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Monitor vessel performance, maintenance, and repairs.
- Coordinate dry-dockings and inspections of vessels.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective execution of maintenance and repair work.
- Liaise with ship owners, operators, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage budgets and expenses related to vessel technical operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to onboard crews.
- Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures related to vessel operations.
Education and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent or in a similar role within the maritime industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
