Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to gather data on material costs, labor rates, and other project expenses.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and refine project budgets and cost plans.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures against budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Support the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies in collaboration with the procurement team.
• Assist in conducting value engineering studies and cost-benefit analyses to optimize project costs.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions to provide cost-related insights and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cost management activities.

Education and Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or construction estimating is advantageous.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
