Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, and provide guidance and support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards, and conduct ongoing performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies, equipment, and ingredients as needed to support daily operations.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues and exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, and back-of-house areas, in accordance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and budgeting, to support effective management of restaurant resources.
Education and Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office applications.
