Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the assigned areas, both indoors and outdoors, to prevent unauthorized access and detect any suspicious activities.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems, to identify and respond promptly to security breaches or incidents.
• Provide a visible security presence, maintaining order and deterring potential threats or disturbances.
• Perform access control duties by checking identification, verifying credentials, and authorizing entry to authorized individuals.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the premises, including doors, windows, and gates, to ensure they are properly secured.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches, following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, addressing their inquiries, concerns, or requests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure a coordinated approach to security operations.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a security-related role is preferred, although comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates.
• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is essential.
• Excellent observation skills with the ability to identify potential security risks or threats.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and the public.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and handle emergencies efficiently.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills to operate security systems and maintain accurate records.
• A high level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
• A valid driving license is desirable but not essential.
