Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing personal care and support to individuals according to their care plans.
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Foster a caring and supportive environment, promoting individuals’ independence and well-being.
- Engage in meaningful activities with individuals, encouraging social interaction and emotional support.
- Assist in administering medication as per guidelines and individual requirements.
- Accompany and support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
- Observe and document individuals’ progress, changes in behavior, and any incidents or concerns.
- Collaborate with the care team to contribute to the development and implementation of personalized care plans.
- Maintain effective communication with individuals, their families, and external healthcare professionals.
- Respect individuals’ privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Follow health and safety protocols, reporting any issues or hazards promptly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Support Worker or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Relevant training or qualifications are advantageous.
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in individuals’ lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with colleagues and external professionals.

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.
