Responsibilities:

1. Receive incoming shipments and verify their accuracy against purchase orders or delivery notes.
2. Unload and sort items, and allocate them to designated storage areas.
3. Organize and arrange products in the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of space.
4. Perform regular stock counts and update inventory records using manual or computerized systems.
5. Prepare orders for delivery or pickup by selecting and packing items accurately.
6. Label and tag products with appropriate identification information.
7. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including aisles, shelves, and storage areas.
9. Comply with health, safety, and security standards to ensure a safe working environment.
10. Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
11. Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks as required.
12. Communicate and report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
13. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, if applicable.
14. Continuously seek ways to improve warehouse operations and contribute to process enhancements.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
2. Prior experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is preferred.
3. Physical strength and stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.
4. Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
5. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and order fulfillment.
7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
9. Forklift certification is an advantage.
10. Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
11. Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
12. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
