Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and supervision to a team of customer assistants. Set clear expectations, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate team members to achieve excellent customer service and operational targets.
- Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service. Assist customers with inquiries, resolve complaints, and handle complex situations professionally and efficiently.
- Store Operations: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and adherence to all operational policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the appropriate teams to ensure accurate stock replenishment. Conduct regular stock audits and assist in minimizing stock loss and wastage.
- Sales Performance: Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales growth.
- Staff Training and Development: Support the training and development of customer assistants, ensuring they have the necessary product knowledge and customer service skills to excel in their roles. Provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including regular checks, risk assessments, and adherence to safe working practices. Promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Store Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising throughout the store. Monitor and enforce company policies regarding store appearance and presentation.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate reports, such as sales figures, stock levels, and staff performance. Maintain proper documentation of important records, including employee records and incident reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a retail environment, with a focus on customer service and team leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the store’s requirements.
