Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklift trucks to move, stack, and load/unload goods in warehouses, distribution centers, or other work environments.
Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and operating procedures while operating the forklift.
Inspect forklift trucks before and after each shift, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Transport goods to and from designated areas within the facility, following specific instructions or work orders.
Stack and arrange goods in an organized and efficient manner, optimizing available storage space.
Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely inventory management.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on work progress or any issues that arise.
Follow company policies and procedures related to health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment.
Perform general warehouse tasks, such as material handling, order picking, or packing, as needed.

Requirements:

Valid forklift operator’s license.
Proven experience as a Forklift Driver, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Excellent operating skills, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Familiarity with different types of forklift trucks and their operation.
Understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and documenting inventory.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Dependability and reliability in meeting work schedules.
Flexibility in working hours, as shifts may vary and could include evenings or weekends.
