Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of warehouse workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
• Plan and organize warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics, inventory control, and customer service, to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Train and develop warehouse staff, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring proper stock levels and timely replenishment.
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software to track and manage inventory, orders, and shipments.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve any logistics or delivery issues.
• Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement appropriate measures to enhance warehouse operations.
• Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory counts, order fulfillment, and productivity metrics.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory management software.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid work permit or right to work in the United Kingdom.
