Job Description:

Craigowl Farms Ltd is a reputable agricultural company currently seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Fruit Pickers. This is a temporary/seasonal position based in various locations across the UK.

Responsibilities:

Harvesting a variety of fruits, including berries, apples, pears, or other crops, using appropriate tools and techniques.
Selecting and picking fruits based on size, color, and maturity, following established quality standards.
Handling the harvested fruits with care to prevent damage and maintain their freshness.
Sorting and grading the fruits based on specific criteria.
Packaging and preparing the fruits for transportation or sale.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.
Complying with health and safety regulations and best practices.
Working efficiently and meeting productivity targets as set by supervisors.

Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting.
Attention to detail to ensure the selection of high-quality fruits.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions.
Reliable and punctual with good time management skills.
Flexibility to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
