Job Description:

Encore Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Fruit Pickers. This is a temporary/seasonal position based in various locations across the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Harvesting ripe fruits from plants, trees, or vines according to specific instructions provided.
• Sorting and selecting fruits based on their size, color, and quality standards.
• Ensuring that the harvested fruits are handled carefully to avoid damage.
• Packaging and labeling the fruits for transportation or sale.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Working efficiently and effectively to meet productivity targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Attention to detail to ensure the selection of high-quality fruits.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in fruit picking or agricultural work is beneficial but not required.
• Basic understanding of fruit varieties and ripening stages is a plus.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a farming environment.
