Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role offers visa sponsorship to eligible candidates. The Warehouse Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, managing a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven track record in warehouse management.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
2. Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
3. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
4. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconciliation with the warehouse management system.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce warehouse safety protocols.
6. Oversee receiving, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring proper handling, labeling, and documentation.
7. Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and logistics, to ensure timely order fulfillment.
8. Continuously assess warehouse performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures.
9. Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and motivate the warehouse team to meet performance targets.
10. Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
2. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
4. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications.
5. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve operational issues.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
8. Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
9. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
