Job Summary:
Emaar Hospitality Group, a leading hospitality company in Dubai, is seeking experienced and creative Chefs to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by preparing and presenting high-quality dishes with precision and artistic flair. You will contribute to maintaining the reputation of our establishments for culinary excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus, ensuring a balance of flavors, textures, and visual appeal.
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, according to established recipes and standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure the proper execution of recipes and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef and other team members to ensure timely and efficient food production.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring proper handling, storage, and labeling of all food items.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following hygiene and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and techniques, incorporating innovation into menu development.
- Assist in creating and costing menus, ensuring profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and special requests, providing personalized dining experiences.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as F&B Service and Banquets, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a reputable establishment, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Culinary degree or relevant culinary certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavors, and ingredients.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts, with the ability to develop innovative and visually appealing dishes.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to supervise and train kitchen staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Valid work permit or residency in Dubai.
