Job Summary:

Ben Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Team Members. As a Bar Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our patrons and ensuring a memorable experience at our establishment. You will be responsible for serving beverages, preparing cocktails, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  3. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as per customers’ requests.
  4. Provide recommendations and suggestions on drinks based on customers’ preferences and menu offerings.
  5. Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and organized at all times.
  6. Operate cash registers and handle payments accurately.
  7. Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  8. Engage with customers, respond to their inquiries, and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  10. Stay up to date with current promotions, new menu items, and special events happening at the establishment.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a bar or hospitality setting.
  2. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  3. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails and mixology.
  5. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders.
  6. Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
  7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  8. A positive and friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues.
  9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to the hospitality industry.
  10. Any relevant certifications or training in responsible alcohol service is desirable.
