Job Summary
Quality Service Recruitment Limited, a reputable staffing agency, is currently seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming goods, checking for accuracy and inspecting them for damages or discrepancies.
- Unload and unpack deliveries, ensuring items are properly stored in designated areas.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods and update inventory systems as required.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to safely and efficiently move goods within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including keeping aisles clear and adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity targets and fulfill customer orders on time.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation, cycle counting, and ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and using warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete tasks and follow instructions.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well with colleagues and follow direction.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as warehouse operations may require.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to meeting quality and productivity standards.
