Kootenay Park Lodge in Edgewater, BC, is looking for someone to fill the role of Hotel Cleaner. Those who are interested can send in an application. Requirements:

Languages: Applicants must know how to speak and write in English.
Education: Applicants do not need to have a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a license.

Experience: Applicants don’t need experience, but having experience is a plus. Applicants will also receive training.

Physical requirements: The candidate should be able to pay attention to details. The candidate should be able to sit, stand, and walk.

Responsibilities:

• The person applying should know how to sweep, mop, wash, and clean floors. dust furniture as well
• The person applying should know how to vacuum carpets, floor rugs, drapes, and upholstered furniture.
• The person applying should know how to make beds and change sheets.
• The person running for the job should be able to hand out clean towels and toiletries. also put linens in the closet
• The person should be able to clean, disinfect, and shine tools and fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom.
• The individual should be able to clean and disinfect elevators, operating rooms, and other areas.
• The candidate should be able to handle and report lost and found items. The candidate should be able to meet guests’ needs for extra supplies or other items.
• The candidate should know the basics about the tools.
• The person applying should be able to clean up trash and empty trash cans. also clean the walls, windows, and ceilings.
• The person should be able to clean changing rooms and showers and deal with customer issues.
